Cutscene Engine 1.9.0
Version 1.9.0 is now out of beta test
– What’s new –
Voice acting support
This was already available in my Dialogue Engine. It wasn’t as easy to add it to this Cutscene Engine, but now it’s finally available!
The new script is called cutscene_dialogue_add_voice. You can make the voice synchronize with the text, and to some degree, with the sprite animation! Here is a short video that shows it in action:
Now it’s possible to change the option positions
There are new optional arguments in cutscene_dialogue_position script to manage this.
Other changes
- Improved some scripts to avoid possible errors
- Improved code formatting and added some comments
- Trying to use the new function ways (the ones introduced in 2.3) in all scripts
- Changed example camera speed to avoid quick camera movements when using cutscene camera scripts
- Replaced deprecated built-in variable room_speed with game_get_speed
Bug fixes
- Fixed cutscene_screen_color_special script
- Updated cutscene_dialogue script & control_cutscene in preparation to upcoming dialogue engine 2.8.0 update
