Menu Engine for GameMaker Version 1.3.0
This update merges the 2 assets (menu engine & pop up dialog) more. There are also lots of general improvements.
Converted to new GameMaker version
With this update the project was converted to the latest GameMaker version. If you need to use an older version of GameMaker, you can use the previous version of this asset.
Added sounds
Now browsing the menus feels nicer. Sounds can easily be disabled or changed from the control_menu object.
Unified the 2 assets more
Now the Menu Engine and Pop up Dialog assets are more unified and work better together. This fixes many problems and makes it easier to start using them.
Organized things
- Groups/folders were organized. Now there also shouldn’t be unnecessary extra folders for those who use GameMaker in some other language than English.
- Some unnecessary duplicate sprites were also removed.
- The name of example_room was changed to room_game and the example was improved.
- Manual was improved
Bug fixes
- Fixed not being able to change options in pause menu, if they were not changed in main menu first
- Other little fixes
